Béatrice Hasler

Béatrice Hasler is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Sammy Ofer School of Communications at the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya, Israel. She specializes in social psychology and new media.
The main focus of her research lies in mediated cross-cultural and nonverbal communication. She carries out large-scale international field studies on virtual teamwork and intercultural literacy in the context of a global education project (the ShanghAI Lectures: http://shanghailectures.org/research/). Her research is funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation and a Marie Curie Intra-European Fellowship from the European Union. She is also a Board Member of the European Chapter of the Immersive Education (iED) Initiative, and a member of the Executive Committee of the European iED Summits.
